| Tomas Kraus of the Czech Republic and Ophelie David of France won World Cup freestyle ski cross races Saturday. Kraus beat Stanley Hayer of Canada, and Andreas Steffen of Switzerland was third. Kraus, who leads the ski cross standings with 445 points, took the overall World Cup points lead. David defeated Hedda Bernsten of Norway and Katrin Ofner of Austria. |

| Austrian skier Maria Holaus will miss the rest of the women's World Cup season due to injuries on both knees. Holaus ruptured collateral ligaments in her right knee and tore cruciate ligaments and broke the upper part of the shinbone on the left after crashing in Sunday's super-G race in Sestriere, Italy, the Austrian ski federation said Tuesday. |
