| British speed skier Kevin Alderton set an indoor world speed ski record of 90.7kph (56.36mph) at the ski centre at Landgraaf in Holland last month. Kevin, who was left blinded by a vicious gang attack when he tried to aid a woman who was being threatened, also holds the world speed ski record for blind skiers of 169.4kph which he set at Les Arcs in France. |

| The long awaited SnowFunPark, Germany?s fifth indoor snow centre, will open on 8th December with a weekend long party. The indoor slope, one of the world?s largest, has been built with the support of Europe?s largest ski club. Amongst its many attractions it will feature the world?s largest indoor halfpipe.

| Despite being registered blind, ex-soldier Kevin Alderton, will be attempting to create the an indoor Ski Speed World Record at the 520 metre long indoor slope at Landgraaf in Holland on 15th November. He anticipates achieving a speed of 80mph (130kph) during the indoor record attempt, the first ever of its kind. |
